Prix Charles-Lathrop-Parsons

Le prix Charles-Lathrop-Parsons (Charles Lathrop Parsons Award) est un prix généralement bisannuel qui récompense les services exceptionnels rendus par un membre de l'American Chemical Society (ACS). Il a été établi en 1952 et est nommé en l'honneur de son premier récipiendaire Charles Lathrop Parsons (en)[1],[2].

Les récipiendaires sont choisis par le conseil d'administration de l'American Chemical Society parmi une liste d'au plus cinq personnes établie par le Committee on Grants and Awards[3]. Ils ont la possibilité de remettre le prix deux années successives, à leur discrétion[4]. La première a recevoir le prix est Mary L. Good en 1991[5].
